A pub on a street in a city centre is a lot like a small restaurant in the suburbs.
You get to sit outside, you get to sip beer from a tall glass and watch the world go by.
But there is something special about this place.
The bar itself is called Paisley, after the Irish word for wings.
“I had a really good time there,” says Patrick Cahill, owner of Paisleys Pub and Grill.
“We had an Irish meal, we had a few drinks and some conversation.”
The pub opened in 2008 on the corner of King Street and Bannister Street in Dublin, but it has since become known for its wings, which are served with a twist of bacon and mayonnaise.
It has become so popular that it now occupies a new, fully enclosed location on King Street, just down the road from the old pub.
The original Paissey Pub, at 5 King Street.
“They were very nice people,” says Cahill.
“People were very supportive and they had a great menu.
We would always have a couple of the dishes they were serving.”
But after a couple more years, the place was sold.
“At that point, I realised that it wasn’t really that different from any other pub in Dublin,” says Paddy Connolly, co-owner of the now-closed Paisys Pub and Grille.
“There was a big change. “
They sold it and it closed. “
There was a big change.
They sold it and it closed.
They didn’t want to sell the pub.”
After many months of looking for a new owner, Cahill started looking for another restaurant to open on King street.
“As soon as we got to King Street it just got a bit crowded,” he says.
“So we thought, well, why not open up at Paisles Pub and Gough’s.”
So Cahill set about looking for space.
He searched the city for a spot that would fit with the building.
“A bit of a little alleyway,” he recalls.
I said, well why don’t we come here?” “
And then I came across this beautiful old building, the Paisks Pub, on King, on the right hand side of the street.
I said, well why don’t we come here?”
The pub’s name is the same as the street, but its location was changed to King and Barges Streets.
“That’s where we came up with the name Paisons Pub,” he explains.
“The name came from when we were on the street and the name came because of the Paiskies, the Polish people.”

There was already a restaurant in that location, and the owner of the old restaurant was looking for someone to open a restaurant there.
Cahill thought he would find the right person, but he soon realised that was not going to happen.
“He had some real issues with the Irish language,” he admits.
“You could be talking to him about something and he would say, ‘What do you want me to say?
I’m not interested.'”
So Cahil had to start looking for new restaurants, which he eventually did.
The new restaurant was called Paísicles Pub, and as soon as he opened it he was overwhelmed by the response.
“Every week, it was something new,” he remembers.
“Just getting people talking about it.
We’ve been so successful.” “
Now I have a restaurant and I can get people to come in for dinner and for a drink.
We’ve been so successful.”
Paisies Pub and Pub In the last few years, it has become a place where people come to relax and socialise, and a place for people to go for drinks.
“From the moment you walk in, there’s an Irish atmosphere,” says Connolly.
“What’s different now is that people are coming back for dinner. “
It’s really good for the city. “
What’s different now is that people are coming back for dinner.
